Landing Camp
is located on 10 acres of property on Sooke River Road and includes two
fully equipped cabins. Trees surround the Upper Cabin while the Lower
Cabin overlooks the Sooke River. The location allows for easy access to
the Sooke Region Museum and the Galloping Goose Trail. A variety of
native plants can be identified in the forested area and along the
river.. |

The cabin
is
wheelchair accessible and has indoor washrooms (one wheelchair) and
shower. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, microwave and hot water. There
is a large main room with a fireplace, propane heater off which is the
sleeping room with 24 bunks, no mattresses. Outside is a lovely covered
porch with picnic tables. |

The main room has a
fireplace and 20
bunks that fold away. Off the main room is a glassed in veranda with
table and chairs for meals and activities and the kitchen with a
propane stove, electric fridge and hot water. The washrooms are flush,
but accessed through a separate entrance. |
